Full Stack Software Engineer - Node.js, Typescript, AWS

About the role

Join the Access team at a leading global payments company as a Full Stack Software Engineer. You will work with a cross‑functional squad to design, develop, operate and continuously improve cloud‑based products used by millions of customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Collaboratively develop new features and engineering capabilities for the squad’s products, emphasizing automation.
• Participate in all development stages, from requirement discussions with the Product Owner to cloud deployment.
• Join the on‑call rotation to support highly available services.
• Provide tools and guidance for data‑driven decision making within the squad.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with other squads on technology choices, patterns and approaches.

Required profile

• At least two years of experience building user‑friendly, maintainable web applications.
• Strong focus on quality, test‑first philosophy and agile ways of working.
• Inquisitive mindset constantly seeking improvement opportunities.
• Ability to drive better ways of working across the squad and wider tribe.

Required skills

• Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript
• React and related web application frameworks
• Browser testing tools such as BrowserStack
• Test Driven Development (TDD)
• AWS infrastructure provisioning
• CI/CD pipeline setup (bonus)
• Terraform (bonus)
• Redux, Scully, Cypress, Nest.js (bonus)
• Knowledge of PCI‑DSS and payment industry concepts (bonus)
