Engineering Data Management Specialist – PMO (Space)

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is seeking an Engineering Data Management Specialist to join its Romania team. The role focuses on engineering data management within space projects, supporting project managers and chief engineers with efficient processes, tools, and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Define, institutionalise, and maintain Engineering Data Management (EDM) standards, processes and deliverables.
• Integrate EDM processes into project life‑cycle solutions and support cost, schedule, and performance balance.
• Prepare and deliver artefacts such as interactive schedules, resource plans, dashboards, reports, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with Work Package Managers to ensure accurate EDM deliverables.
• Support requirements database administration and Earned Value Management KPIs.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in IT, engineering or data‑management domains.
• At least 1‑2 years of experience in project‑management support or PMO activities.
• Proven experience in system‑engineering or technical IT environments.
