Embedded Software Engineer

About the role

Accenture Industry X is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to help shape a Software‑Defined Vehicle Platform. You will work on a unified ecosystem that combines Linux, Android, QNX, AUTOSAR and Adaptive AUTOSAR to enable safe, secure and upgradable automotive solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define firmware and software architecture for specific components and modules of the platform.
• Design, implement, integrate, test and document low‑level drivers, board support packages (BSP) and software components using modern C++.
• Apply automotive development standards such as ASPICE and ISO 26262 throughout the development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience with C, C++ and modern C++ in embedded software development.
• Proven ability to develop drivers, BSPs and other low‑level software.
• Understanding of real‑time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded operating systems.
• Experience writing unit tests for C++ code, preferably with gmock or a similar framework.
