Driver & Data Collector – Field Mapping Project

About the role

Join a European field data collection project that captures high‑quality street visuals, points of interest and public spaces using vehicles equipped with removable 360° cameras and lidar. You will follow pre‑assigned routes, store data on onboard SSDs and help improve a leading online mapping platform.

Key responsibilities

• Drive a vehicle fitted with 360° cameras and lidar to capture comprehensive images and video of streets and public areas.
• Follow assigned routes and revisit locations when weather conditions require better image quality.
• Store collected data securely on onboard SSD drives.
• Maintain the vehicle and data‑collection equipment in good working order.
• Adhere to safety protocols and complete the required safety driving test.

Required profile

• Valid EU‑issued driver’s licence.
• Clean criminal and driving record.
• Minimum 5 years of professional driving experience (taxi, delivery, logistics, etc.).
• Fluent in English and the local language.
• Tech‑savvy and comfortable using GSuite tools.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics.
• Responsible, reliable, professional and enjoys travelling.
