DevOps & Site Reliability Engineer – GCP (Remote, Romania)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced DevOps & Site Reliability Engineer to own and evolve our Google Cloud Platform infrastructure. You will work closely with development, QA, and IT teams to automate operations, ensure reliability, and support the growth of our platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on GCP.
• Implement scalable container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Google Cloud Run.
• Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting using Elasticsearch, Kibana, Prometheus, and New Relic.
• Administer and optimize MongoDB instances, including backup and disaster‑recovery strategies.
• Apply security best practices and ensure GDPR compliance.
• Automate provisioning and configuration with GCP services, Terraform or Ansible, and custom scripts.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to support the software development lifecycle and resolve infrastructure issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of DevOps or related experience.
• Professional working proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Strong background in Docker, Kubernetes, and GCP services.
• Experience with Elasticsearch, Kibana, Prometheus, New Relic, and MongoDB.
