Data Compliance & Policy Senior Associate

About the role

The Global Chief Data Office (GCDO) at PwC is seeking a Data Compliance & Policy Senior Associate to support the creation, drafting, and approval of policies that enable responsible data use across the firm. This role works closely with global stakeholders to align data governance with regulatory requirements and PwC’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Research, collect, and analyse information to develop and draft policies supporting the Global Data Strategy.
• Manage meetings with global stakeholder groups throughout the policy lifecycle, from information gathering to post‑publication communication.
• Oversee the development and refresh of multiple policies simultaneously, ensuring timely publication and dashboard reporting.
• Assist territories in standardising data‑related policy development, consulting subject‑matter experts as needed.
• Build relationships with data leaders, the Chief Data Officer community, and other stakeholders to address compliance and policy challenges.
• Continuously expand knowledge of data compliance to support team initiatives.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in a professional environment, preferably within data governance or compliance.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong policy research, analysis, and development capabilities.
• Ability to turn vague requests into clear, actionable approaches.
