Cyber Security Analyst

About the role

TechBiz Global is looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to join a client’s Security Operations Center in Bucharest. The role focuses on delivering managed security services, monitoring threats, and responding to incidents for a large user base.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 24x7 client‑facing support for managed security services, following and improving operational processes.
• Monitor real‑time alerts, analyze security event data from network and endpoint sources, and triage incidents.
• Assist in the remediation of critical information‑security incidents and provide incident‑response guidance.
• Integrate, deploy, and manage endpoint protection and attack‑surface solutions for customers.
• Develop, maintain, and customize automated playbooks for common threats using security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) tools.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce response times and increase SOC efficiency.
• Perform health checks, optimization activities, and vulnerability remediation across client environments.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, motivated individual with foundational knowledge in network security and system administration.
• Advanced understanding of endpoint protection, threat and vulnerability management, security automation, and security analysis.
• Ability to work assigned shifts and cover alternate shifts as needed.
