Customer Onboarding Officer with German

About the role

Accenture is hiring a Customer Onboarding Officer (Business Advisory Analyst, early career) to support customers through the credit card application journey. The role covers reviewing applications, validating documents and completing customer identification, combining customer interaction with operational processing. It is based in Bucharest, Brasov, Iasi or Timisoara, with a hybrid schedule of 09:00-18:00; candidates in other Romanian locations may be offered greater flexibility, including remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate credit card applications and supporting documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Perform customer identification and verification in line with KYC and compliance requirements.
• Contact customers by phone, email or written correspondence to obtain missing information and guide them through the application.
• Process applications within service-level agreements and quality standards while keeping accurate records across multiple systems.
• Identify and escalate compliance, fraud or risk concerns and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required profile

• German and English at B2-C1 level.
• Minimum high school diploma; entry-level roles need no prior experience, mid-level roles require at least 1 year of customer support experience.
• Preferred: French or Italian, experience in customer onboarding, banking operations or financial services, and knowledge of KYC, AML or customer due diligence.
• A Goethe German-language certification is a plus.
