Customer Loyalty Specialist – Client Services Back Office (English)

About the role

ING Hubs Romania, which provides software development, data management, risk and compliance, audit and retail operations services to 24 ING units worldwide, is looking for a Customer Loyalty Specialist to join its Client Services Business Back Office team. You will work within the Customer Loyalty Team (CLT) supporting clients through their banking connections.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain client connectivity channels such as SWIFT, IBP and EBICS, including setup, testing and ongoing monitoring.
• Handle client requests by day-to-day operational support via email and internal tools, including analysis and data management.
• Monitor and follow up on client payments, investigations and transaction processing to meet service standards.
• Carry out Know Your Transaction (KYT) controls by analysing and monitoring client activity in line with internal policies.
• Keep client data accurate, secure and properly managed across banking systems.
• Work with internal teams to resolve operational issues and support research and investigation of client operations, discrepancies and ad-hoc requests.
• Proactively identify and address operational risks and inefficiencies to maintain high service quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or high school diploma with an economic profile, plus relevant experience and training in banking operations or accounting.
• At least one year of operational banking experience, preferably in a client-facing role involving phone, email and chat.
• Solid spoken and written English; French is a plus.
• Basic understanding of banking legislation and regulations.

• Strong organisation and collaboration skills, client-oriented attitude and good communication.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
