Contract Negotiator (FSP) - Romania

About the role

iQVIA, a global provider of clinical research services, is looking for a Contract Negotiator (FSP) based in Bucharest. The role supports the development of investigator grants, contracts and budgets for clinical trials, working closely with sponsors, study teams and Quality Management.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the development of investigator grants and estimates, contracting strategies and proposal text to support the proposal process.
• Develop contract language, payment terms and budget templates as needed.
• Maintain contracting systems, tools, processes and training materials for selected sponsors, studies or multi-protocol programs.
• Collaborate with sponsors, stakeholders and RSU regions and countries to deliver the project scope in line with sponsor requirements and the RSU Management Plan.
• Provide legal, operational and financial contracting support to Study Teams on site agreements, helping clinical trials start and run while meeting regulatory requirements.
• Ensure contracting efficiency, adherence to project timelines and financial goals, and report performance metrics and out-of-scope activities.
• Work with Quality Management on contract management and quality standards, and mentor and coach colleagues, including delivering training materials.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or 5 years of relevant sponsor or clinical research organization clinical site contracting experience.
• Fluent English.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to challenge.
• Strong legal, financial and/or technical writing skills.
• Good understanding of the regulated clinical trial environment, the drug development process and clinical trial contract management.
