Cloud Solution Architect – Azure

About the role

We are looking for a Cloud Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of secure, scalable Azure‑based solutions for our enterprise customers in Timișoara. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to modernize applications and drive cloud transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end cloud architectures on Microsoft Azure that are secure, resilient and cost‑effective.
• Consult with business units to define hosting, modernization and migration strategies using PaaS, containers and serverless services.
• Architect networking solutions across cloud and hybrid environments, including VNets, Azure Firewall and Private Endpoints.
• Lead migration projects while ensuring compliance, governance and security best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and architectural oversight to development and operations teams.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑performance solutions aligned with business goals.
• Continuously optimize the environment for availability, performance and cost.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field.
• 7+ years of hands‑on experience in cloud architecture or platform engineering, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
• Proven track record of leading cloud migration, security hardening, governance and cost‑optimization initiatives.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

• Microsoft Azure services: Databricks, Data Factory, App Services, AKS, Functions, Container Apps, Cosmos DB, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, VNets, Hub‑and‑Spoke, Azure Firewall, Private Endpoints, Load Balancers, API Management, Front Door, Application Gateway.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates.
• Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline implementation and automation.
