Business Development Manager – Romania & SEE Region

About the role

Aggreko is seeking a Business Development Manager for Romania and the SEE region to drive growth by creating new business opportunities, expanding market presence, and building strong customer relationships across assigned markets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new customers, markets, industries and applications to generate future revenue.
• Create and execute market entry strategies for new sectors, territories and customer segments.
• Establish and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders and executive‑level contacts.
• Qualify, develop and progress commercial opportunities through the sales pipeline to closure or hand‑over.
• Prepare compelling business cases, tenders, presentations and value propositions aligned with customer needs.
• Coordinate cross‑functional resources across Sales, Operations, Engineering, Finance, Marketing and Service teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, Economics or a related discipline.
• 5–10 years of experience in business development, strategic sales or commercial management with a proven track record of achieving targets.
• Experience in developing new markets, acquiring customers and managing complex B2B sales cycles.
• Strong business acumen and ability to prepare and present compelling business cases.

Required skills

• Advanced English (written and verbal).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
• Category B driving licence.
