Bodily Injury Claims Handler

About the role

Hellas Direct is seeking meticulous, empathetic, and analytical Bodily Injury Claims Handlers for its Romania branch. You will manage end‑to‑end complex bodily injury and fatality claim files, ensuring claimants are treated with care, transparency, and respect.

Key responsibilities

• Review, register, and evaluate complex bodily injury and fatality claims from notification to final settlement.
• Analyze accident reports, police findings, and expert assessments to determine liability and set financial reserves.
• Examine medical reports, trauma severity, loss of earnings, and care requirements to calculate fair compensation.
• Conduct high‑level negotiations with injured parties, legal representatives, and external correspondents.
• Coordinate with external panel lawyers to define defence strategies for litigated claims.
• Maintain accurate digital claim files and ensure compliance with Romanian insurance regulations (ASF guidelines).

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience with Motor Bodily Injury claims in the Romanian market.
• Strong understanding of Romanian insurance regulations, civil law, and compensation standards.
• Fluency in Romanian and English (written and spoken).
• Good organizational, time‑management, and problem‑solving skills.
