Backend Developer Intermediate

About the role

We are looking for an intermediate Backend Developer to join Bosch Service Solutions in Timișoara. You will work within a cross‑functional development team to design, build and maintain backend solutions that meet customer requirements and drive standardisation across processes.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Development Team to understand, design and implement end‑to‑end customer requirements.
• Create synergies across customers within the same process chain to increase standardisation.
• Align with IT architects, functional consultants and process experts to ensure consistent technical and procedural implementation.
• Translate technical design details into production‑ready code following established standards.
• Manage tasks autonomously, including effort estimation and prioritisation.
• Deliver high‑quality software and document application specifications and support manuals.
• Continuously improve development practices together with the team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• Fluent English (B2/C1 level).
• Extensive knowledge of the development environment, especially STIBO Step MDM.
• Experience with Salesforce and/or SAP integrations.
• Strong understanding of STIBO APIs, token‑based architecture and REST API integration.
• Familiarity with CPI communications and legacy system endpoints.
• Working knowledge of SQL (MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server) and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with source‑control systems such as GitHub, Bitbucket or GitLab.
• Hands‑on experience with unit, integration and load testing.
• Ability to work in agile teams and interpret functional and technical specifications.
