Associate – Financial & Sustainability Auditor

About the role

As an Associate in Financial & Sustainability Audit at PwC, you will support the delivery of high‑quality audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients. You will gain exposure to both financial statement audits and sustainability reporting, helping to ensure accuracy, compliance and credibility of information.

Key responsibilities

• Perform audit procedures on financial statements to obtain reasonable assurance of freedom from material misstatement.
• Assess sustainability disclosures and related controls in line with emerging standards.
• Evaluate internal controls, risk management processes and governance frameworks.
• Prepare audit documentation, work‑papers and audit reports for client review.
• Collaborate with senior team members and client personnel to address audit findings.
• Stay up‑to‑date with professional and technical standards applicable to audit and assurance.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Curiosity and willingness to continuously learn and develop.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
• Good communication skills and openness to diverse perspectives.
• Commitment to professional ethics, independence and PwC’s code of conduct.
