Accounting Internship – General Ledger

About the role

Join the Finance Business Services Accounting team for a 6‑month internship focused on General Ledger (R2R) activities within an international Shared Service Center. You will support month‑end closing, reporting and compliance while gaining hands‑on experience with SAP and Blackline.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare supporting files for accruals, provisions and adjustments using SAP extractions and data checks.
• Assist in journal entry preparation, template handling and upload to Blackline.
• Perform account reconciliations, analyse open items and upload documentation in Blackline.
• Investigate discrepancies during month‑end closing, coordinating with responsible teams.
• Support the preparation of monthly reports and analysis files.
• Contribute to internal documentation updates and process‑improvement initiatives such as Excel automation.

Required profile

• Student in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in an international, multicultural environment.
• Proficiency in English and/or French.

Required skills

• Excel (pivot tables, basic formulas).
• SAP.
• Blackline.
