Working Student – Embedded Software Development (High-Level)

About the role

As a Working Student in Embedded Software Development you will join Bosch’s Powertrain Solutions team in Cluj‑Napoca. You will support the creation of web‑based tools that accelerate digitalisation across engineering projects, working both on backend and frontend components.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain internal web applications using Java, Spring Boot and related technologies.
• Implement frontend features with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Design and consume RESTful APIs, integrating with Azure Cloud services.
• Write database queries and manage schema changes in SQL databases.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams following Agile/Scrum practices.
• Participate in code reviews, testing and CI/CD pipeline activities.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Automation, Electronics, Telecommunications, Informatics, Mathematics or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of object‑oriented programming and data structures.
• Understanding of HTTP fundamentals and REST API principles.
• Good command of English (minimum B2 level).
