Technical Scrum Master – Engineering Data Management Specialist

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space Romania is looking for a Technical Scrum Master with a focus on Engineering Data Management. You will work as a transversal system‑engineering specialist, collaborating closely with chief engineers and project managers to deliver data‑driven reports and dashboards while applying agile practices.

Key responsibilities

• Define, set up, support and maintain Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, eazyBI) and related standards.
• Develop policies and techniques for gathering, analysing and visualising engineering data.
• Facilitate Scrum events, implement Scrum, Kanban or hybrid frameworks and remove impediments for development teams.
• Create interactive dashboards, KPI reports and custom analytics using JQL, eazyBI MDX and Excel VBA.
• Organise and deliver training, workshops and demos on the tools and processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in IT or system‑engineering environments.
• Strong communication skills to interact remotely with chief engineers, project managers and work‑package managers.
• Fluent English; basic German or French is a plus.
• Willingness to travel occasionally, both within Romania and abroad.

Required skills

• Jira, Confluence, BigPicture, eazyBI.
• JQL, MDX, JavaScript and basic scripting for Atlassian tools.
• Data analysis, integration and reporting from multiple systems.
• Administration and configuration of Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket).
• Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and software development lifecycle knowledge.
