Key responsibilities

• Participate in code reviews and architecture design meetings, incorporating AI‑assisted insights and tooling.
• Own and drive end‑to‑end features with Product and Design, leveraging AI tools to accelerate development and improve quality.
• Ensure code meets high standards for quality and performance, including validation of AI‑generated outputs.
• Work in an AI‑first environment where productivity is augmented by copilots, automation, and intelligent systems.
• Collaborate with teammates who share the mission and passion for public safety.
• Utilize the latest open‑source technologies and AI‑enabled development platforms.
• Receive mentorship on both traditional and AI‑assisted software engineering practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or 2+ years of relevant experience, or completion of a coding boot‑camp.
• Professional software development internship experience.
• Proficiency in at least one managed language such as Java, Scala, Go, or C#.
• Interest or familiarity with AI‑assisted development tools, code generation, and automation workflows.
• Awareness of emerging AI‑driven development practices.
• Passion for delivering delightful user experiences and solving novel technical challenges.
