Senior UX Researcher – Lead Strategic User Research

About the role

Are you passionate about uncovering meaningful user insights and influencing product decisions through evidence‑based research? Awin is looking for a Senior UX Researcher to lead strategic and tactical research initiatives across its platform, partnering with product, design, engineering and data teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end research projects, from problem definition through synthesis, recommendations and stakeholder alignment.
• Plan and execute qualitative and quantitative activities such as usability testing, interviews, surveys, workshops and behavioural analysis.
• Translate complex findings into clear, actionable insights that drive product and business decisions.
• Collaborate with product, design, engineering, customer success and commercial teams to identify research opportunities.
• Communicate findings confidently to practitioners and senior stakeholders, influencing strategy.
• Support research operations, tooling, best practices and maintain an insights repository.
• Mentor colleagues and help raise research maturity across the organisation.

Required profile

• 4+ years of UX research experience within digital products.
• Strong grasp of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and when to apply them.
• Proven ability to lead complex research projects independently from start to finish.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguous environments and structuring unclear problem spaces.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams while maintaining high delivery standards.
