Senior SAP MM Consultant

About the role

Zalando is seeking a Senior SAP MM Consultant to join its Bucharest ERP team. You will support the execution of B2B and P2P strategies, designing and scaling core business processes within an on‑premise S/4HANA environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead solution design and blueprinting for S/4HANA P2P and Inventory Management architectures.
• Design complex SD processes, including intercompany billing and overstock B2B sales cycles.
• Architect integration patterns (SOAP/REST APIs, IDocs) for POS sales and return transactions.
• Define strategy for MRP replenishment, warehouse optimization, and article master data governance.
• Conduct architectural workshops, manage documentation, and oversee cutover and hypercare phases for major rollouts.
• Act as the primary bridge between business (Supply Chain, Finance, Retail Operations) and IT.
• Govern overall system architecture across S/4HANA (MM/SD/POS), Coupa, and VIM.

Required profile

• 5–8+ years of SAP MM/SD experience, with at least two full end‑to‑end S/4HANA implementations in retail or FMCG.
• Strong English communication skills for an international environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Supply Chain or equivalent.
• SAP S/4HANA certification highly preferred.
