Senior QA Analyst - CDSClear

About the role

LSEG's CDSClear team develops, tests and supports the technology behind the CDSClear service, which clears Credit Default Swaps for its members and clients. The team builds overnight margin calculations, novation of intraday trades, trade simulations and regulatory reports. LSEG is looking for a Senior QA Analyst to drive its test design methodology and act as a gatekeeper of release quality, owning functional, user acceptance and non-regression testing and collaborating on non-functional requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Work with Business Analysts, Development, Risks and Operations to turn complex functional specifications into a hierarchical non-regression test repository for the CDSClear clearing platform.
• Lead requirements traceability, perform gap analysis and identify high-risk functional zones.
• Design structured, data-driven test scenarios for automation and take part in defining automation strategy, priorities and levels (unit/component/SIT).
• Enforce QA standards and keep the regression scope clean and up to date.
• Record test results accurately in the Test Management System and turn execution data into risk-based quality metrics for senior stakeholders.
• Log defects with clear workflows, data states and logs so developers can reproduce and fix issues quickly.

Required profile

• Proven ability to analyse complex business requirements, clearing workflows and system specifications, including edge cases.
• Test design expertise in boundary analysis, state transitions and risk-based test scoping.
• Proactive, confident communicator able to engage with business stakeholders and drive knowledge transfer.
• Strong verbal and written English.
• Preferred: credit derivatives knowledge, hands-on scripting/programming experience, and understanding of BDD/DDT and automated frameworks.

Required skills

• SQL for querying Oracle databases and auditing report tables.
• Preferred: Python/Java, GitLab, Allure reports.
