Senior iOS Software Engineer

About the role

Garmin is seeking a Senior iOS Software Engineer to join the Garmin Connect Team. You will work on the Garmin Connect Mobile app, a high‑traffic fitness and outdoor companion used by tens of millions worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, design and ship new features.
• Write unit tests to ensure robustness, handle edge cases and improve reliability.
• Fix bugs and continuously improve application performance.
• Explore, evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance development.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of iOS development experience.
• Strong attention to detail, process‑oriented and able to work both independently and within a small team.
• BSc in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Proficiency in English.

• SwiftUI and UIKit
• Modern Concurrency
• Modular app architecture with SPM modules
• MVVM and router navigation patterns
• Experience with Bluetooth, Promises, Combine and Agile methodologies (plus)
