Senior Data Engineer

About the role

The Concorde Platform Team within LSEG's Post Trade Division is building a secure, scalable cloud platform on AWS, Azure and Snowflake to deliver a unified data and reporting solution. As a Senior Data Engineer you will ensure platform health, support tenants, and drive automation and performance improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee Snowflake platform health, performance, and reliability, troubleshooting ingestion, transformation, and orchestration issues.
• Provide support to platform tenants on Snowflake and Apache Airflow, ensuring smooth data pipeline operations.
• Develop and maintain end‑to‑end testing frameworks to safeguard tenant flows during platform changes.
• Automate operational tasks via GitLab CI/CD pipelines and contribute to a consistent release process.
• Document data architecture, pipeline processes, and best practices, and evaluate new tools with the Snowflake team.

Required profile

• 5+ years designing and developing automated data pipelines and structures.
• 3+ years hands‑on data engineering with Snowflake, SQL or similar data warehouse solutions.
• Experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration.
• Proficiency in building CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or similar tools.
• Experience working in Agile delivery teams (Scrum, Kanban) and using JIRA.
