About the role

The Second Engineer (SF) role is part of Maersk's Ocean Operations Execution team, responsible for managing and operating seagoing vessels that transport customer cargo and containers.

Key responsibilities

Lead people with employee lifecycle responsibilities, including hiring, coaching, performance appraisal and pay reviews.
Set direction, develop policies and practices, and implement business plans for operational areas.

Required profile

Previous work experience in a related area or practical knowledge obtained via advanced education.
Ability to work independently within defined boundaries while seeking supervision for complex tasks.
