Requirement Manager

About the role

The Requirement Manager will join NXP's Functional Safety Group within the MME Engineering community, supporting secure connectivity projects for automotive and IoT applications. You will be responsible for setting up and maintaining requirement management processes and tools across multiple projects.

Key responsibilities

• Write and maintain the project Requirements Management Plan (RMP) with full traceability.
• Set up projects in the requirements management system, manage baselines, access rights and document generation.
• Monitor compliance with the organization’s requirements engineering process and trigger corrective actions when needed.
• Consolidate and report REQM KPI metrics to stakeholders.
• Participate in Change Control Board meetings and resolve BCaM7 process issues.
• Train and support project teams on tools, methodology and review processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Several years of experience in a high‑technology environment.
• Strong understanding of system engineering and V‑model framework.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, able to manage conflict and learn new tools quickly.

Required skills

• Expertise in requirements management processes and tools.
• Hands‑on experience with DOORSNG (administration, reporting, version management).
• Knowledge of other requirements management tools.
