Regional Medical Sales Manager - Dermocosmetics

About the role

Beiersdorf Romania is looking for a Regional Medical Sales Manager in Bucharest to lead the field force and detailing organisation for its dermocosmetic business. The role covers field force management, medical marketing and events, KOL and DOL management, and export market development, working closely with the Medical Marketing Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the regional medical strategy locally and lead the detailing organisation, including team setup, activity planning and execution.
• Define, implement and monitor field force KPIs, and lead HCP targeting and segmentation.
• Drive field excellence through double visits, on-the-job coaching and use of the Perfect Visit, Matrix of Competencies and IQMED tools.
• Support clinical studies in the field and initiate local medical tracking.
• Develop the annual local professional medical marketing plan, adapt detailing materials and support local and regional Derms events.
• Lead local KOL and DOL recruitment, relationship building and engagement, and take part in local dermatology meetings.
• Grow the export market and contribute to the Eucerin strategy, working with Marketing, S&C and Digital.

Required profile

• University degree, preferably in Medical, Biomedical or another Life Science field.
• Several years of experience in professional marketing or medical sales within a dermocosmetic or pharmaceutical company.
• In-depth knowledge of medical cosmetics, active ingredients and their value for doctors, pharmacists and patients.
• Knowledge of skin biology, skin pathologies, skin indications and product safety.
• Fluent English.

• Strong presentation, communication and negotiation skills, able to tailor messages to dermatologists, pharmacists and consumers.
• Leadership skills: recruiting and developing staff, setting team targets and implementing the Perfect Visit and Matrix of Competencies tools.
• Strategic, analytical and international mindset, with a proactive, team-oriented approach.
