Project Manager, High Acuity Care

About the role

GE HealthCare is looking for a Project Manager, High Acuity Care, to manage anesthesia and critical care management system implementation projects, mainly in Romania but possibly also in other parts of Europe. The role covers hardware and software deliveries, their implementation, configuration and testing using in-house and subcontractor resources, and ensures services meet agreed service contracts and service levels.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of High Acuity Care projects, including new implementations, upgrades, extensions and smaller initiatives
• Plan, monitor and control scope, timelines, resources and deliverables; manage risks and implement mitigations
• Act as primary point of contact during delivery, resolving conflicts and handling escalations
• Serve as main link between GE HealthCare and customers, host service meetings and prepare performance reports
• Manage procurement and coordinate hardware and software deliveries, and oversee installation, configuration and testing by internal teams and subcontractors
• Prepare technical documentation and work with sales, application specialists, technical services and the service desk
• Collaborate with global engineering, product management and marketing teams

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field
• Experience in Healthcare IT and familiarity with hospital information systems
• Strong understanding of ICU and operating room clinical workflows
• Experience in IT delivery project management
• Fluent English and Romanian; willingness to travel to customers
