Project Manager Distribution Solutions

About the role

ABB is looking for a Project Manager to lead medium‑size projects within the Electrification Distribution Solutions Business Area in Romania. You will ensure that all project activities follow procedures, regulations, standards and targets while contributing to a cleaner, smarter future.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the project team, define execution approach and oversee planning, monitoring and control of internal and external resources.
• Monitor project progress, resource utilization and financial performance.
• Identify, qualify, quantify and manage project risks and opportunities.
• Drive formal acceptance, contract close‑out and customer acknowledgment in line with contract terms.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering or Economics.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Manager.
• Sales or frame‑agreement sales experience is a plus.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills in Romanian and English.
• Problem‑solving ability, independent work style and high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Understanding of SAP.
• Familiarity with project management tools.
