PPM Systems & Data Analyst – Engineering Data Management

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Engineering Data Management Specialist to join Airbus Defence and Space in Bucharest. The role focuses on managing the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) system, ensuring data quality, and delivering insightful visual reports for portfolio and delivery management.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support the Planisware Unified Planning platform, configuring settings, troubleshooting issues, and assisting end‑users.
• Maintain data integrity across portfolio schedules, resource allocations, and cost baselines.
• Design, build and maintain interactive dashboards in Google Data Studio and generate automated periodic reports.
• Extract, clean and transform data from Planisware and secondary sources for reporting purposes.
• Develop advanced Excel and Google Sheets models, including VBA or Google Apps Script macros to automate repetitive tasks.
• Provide user training, update SOPs and documentation as new features are released.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in data analytics or related fields.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Foundational knowledge of project‑management concepts such as WBS, Gantt charts, resource planning and Agile/Waterfall methodologies.

Required skills

• Google Data Studio (or similar BI tools like Power BI or Tableau).
• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, array formulas).
• Macro development using VBA or Google Apps Script.
• Experience with Planisware Enterprise or Planisware Orchestra.
