Platform Technical Leader

About the role

EveryMatrix is seeking a Platform Technical Leader to define and drive the architecture of its next‑generation Platform as a Service (PaaS). The role will shape the EM3 and PaaS technical direction, working across datacentres and cloud environments at fleet scale.

Key responsibilities

• Define target architecture, platform principles, roadmap and reference patterns for EM3 and PaaS.
• Design control‑plane APIs, desired‑state models and lifecycle‑management processes for Kubernetes clusters.
• Establish automated provisioning, upgrades, patching, rollback, recovery and decommissioning across infrastructure and platform services.
• Set reliability standards, SLI/SLO practices, observability, resilience testing and the future SRE operating model.
• Embed security by default through DevSecOps, policy‑as‑code, secrets management and supply‑chain compliance.
• Lead cross‑team architectural decisions and mentor senior engineers to build SRE and DevSecOps capabilities.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing or transforming large‑scale internal platforms or PaaS offerings.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, containers, networking, identity, storage and distributed data services.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, GitOps, declarative configuration and policy‑driven automation.
• Deep understanding of SRE practices and DevSecOps, including software supply‑chain security.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, able to lead technical change without direct authority.
