Network & Systems Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a Network & Systems Administrator to join our IT Infrastructure team in Bucharest. The role involves managing Windows Server environments, virtualization platforms and enterprise networking to ensure reliable and secure operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Windows Server, Active Directory and virtualization (VMware, Proxmox).
• Administer, maintain and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, VPN and wireless networks.
• Monitor, patch, back up and maintain Windows servers; support Linux where needed.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, server and network connectivity issues.
• Maintain structured cabling, telecom and remote‑access infrastructure.
• Support system performance, capacity planning and infrastructure optimisation.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors on projects and escalations.
• Handle IT requests through GLPI while meeting SLA targets.
• Provide timely technical support to internal users.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in network and systems administration.
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN troubleshooting and analysis.
• Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory and PowerShell.
• Experience with VMware and/or Proxmox virtualization.
• Linux administration is a plus.
• Familiarity with backup solutions, network security and monitoring tools.
• English level B2 minimum; French A2‑B1 advantageous.
