Network Sales Specialist - Public Sector

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring a Network Sales Specialist in Bucharest, focused on Public Sector and Central Government client institutions in Romania. The role is hybrid, with about two days per week spent in an HPE office. It is an account-management position: the specialist acts as the single point of contact for several large named accounts, understands clients' business and IT challenges and drives value while growing revenue and margin. The specialist works mainly outside the office, with support from presales and inside sales.

Key responsibilities

• Build growth opportunities through account planning, with scheduled reviews and updates, and develop a business plan with the customer
• Work extensively with external partners to deliver solution sales, spending much time directly with customers at management and executive level
• Apply consultative selling to create ongoing profitable revenue growth and maintain customer loyalty and trust
• Manage quarterly, half-yearly and annual quotas and margins, and implement margin recovery strategies
• Enter opportunities in the pipeline tool weekly and follow industry-leading pipeline management practices
• Act as first interface for international accounts with global and local teams, choosing between Volume Direct and Indirect supply chains
• Lead account resources, manage end-to-end sales processes in large deals, and mentor lower-level employees

Required profile

• University or bachelor's degree
• Typically 8-12 years of experience, with industry experience and product specialty experience (computers, printers, servers, storage)
• Detailed knowledge of key customer types or customers on given products, viewed as an expert by other sales reps and managers
• Ability to build relationships at management and executive level and to coordinate partners across levels
