Lead Software Engineer (Java/C++/Rust)

About the role

Join LSEG's Global Development Team to design and maintain a high‑performance FX Trading Aggregator that provides low‑latency liquidity access to leading banks worldwide. You will work on a critical, Java‑based platform deployed across multiple data centers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance core components using Java, C++ and Rust, ensuring scalability and high availability.
• Provide end‑to‑end support for the Aggregator, from build and development through production troubleshooting and incident resolution.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and respond quickly to urgent production issues.

Required profile

• Strong software engineering experience with at least two of Java, C++, Rust.
• Solid understanding of object‑oriented design, distributed systems and SQL/relational databases.
• Proficiency with Linux, scripting and system operations.
• Ownership mindset, problem‑solving attitude and ability to mentor team members.
