Key Account Manager – Ultrasound

About the role

As a Key Account Manager – Ultrasound at Philips, you will drive growth of diagnostic ultrasound solutions across public and private healthcare providers in Bucharest and the South‑West region of Romania. You will build strong partnerships, influence purchasing decisions and contribute to better patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase order intake and revenue for Philips Ultrasound.
• Lead customer engagements, including presentations, product demonstrations and proposal development.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with hospitals, key stakeholders and decision‑makers.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with customer needs and business objectives.
• Maintain accurate sales pipeline and forecasts using Salesforce.com.
• Manage quotations, tenders, contracts and order intake processes.
• Represent Philips at customer visits, industry events and professional networking occasions.
• Monitor market feedback, competitive activity and win/loss trends to continuously improve performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with experience in sales, business development or account management, preferably in healthcare or medical devices.
• Strong communication, presentation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across a matrix organization.
• Full, valid driving licence and willingness to travel within the territory.
• Confidence engaging with senior decision‑makers and executive stakeholders.
• Entrepreneurial, proactive and solution‑oriented mindset.
