Java/Spring AI Technical Architect

About the role

Senior hands‑on architect for Capital Markets Shared Technology, combining Java architecture, AI‑enabled engineering, and technical leadership to deliver modern, modular, AI‑optimised software systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design modular, scalable, resilient enterprise services using Spring Modulith, jMolecule DDD abstractions and event‑driven patterns.
• Guide engineering teams through the full solution lifecycle, ensuring LLM‑compatible, observable, and AI‑native development practices.
• Define system decomposition, domain boundaries, and governance frameworks for AI‑driven SDLC workflows.
• Mentor engineers, promote clean code, automation, and modern SDLC discipline.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of Capital Markets business processes to shape architecture decisions.
• Significant experience as a software developer and senior technical leader.
• Ability to operate autonomously, drive improvement initiatives and champion modern AI‑enabled practices.

Required skills

• Expert Java and Spring Boot development.
• Experience with Spring Modulith, jMolecule, ArchUnit.
• Deep knowledge of APIs, distributed systems, DDD, event‑driven architecture, CQRS, event sourcing.
• Design of cloud‑native systems using PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch and AWS services.
• Expertise in relational and NoSQL databases, vector stores, RAG patterns and AI agents.
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, MCP‑compatible tooling and AI‑assisted code generation.
