Java Software Engineer – Marine Cloud

About the role

Garmin is looking for a Java Software Engineer to join the Marine Cloud team, developing micro‑service and cloud‑native solutions for marine navigation and monitoring devices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop software for Garmin products following coding standards and release processes.
• Design, enhance and develop complex Java microservices using Spring Boot.
• Utilize configuration management, build processes and debugging tools.
• Participate in peer code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Provide reliable solutions to a variety of technical problems.

Required profile

• 5+ years of relevant Java development experience.
• Strong knowledge of OOP principles and design patterns.
• Excellent English speaking and writing skills.
