Infrastructure Security Architect

About the role

The Infrastructure Security Architect leads the design and planning of security solutions for complex, mission‑critical infrastructure at NXP. This senior role collaborates with senior leaders across IT and business units to develop and deliver secure architecture, mentor engineering talent, and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Define and oversee the technical direction and architectural vision for security infrastructure, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and digital transformation.
• Architect comprehensive security frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman) and select appropriate technologies for integration across server, storage, network, and cloud environments.
• Lead large‑scale projects, manage risks, maintain a prioritized security roadmap, and ensure successful delivery.
• Collaborate with Enterprise, Application, Data, DevOps, and Cloud architects as well as business stakeholders to pilot use cases and align implementations.
• Conduct continuous assessments of new security technologies and audit implementations for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 6+ years experience with Common Criteria (ISO/IEC 15408) certification programs.
• 8+ years leading cross‑functional, on‑shore and off‑shore teams.
• Proven ability to translate security requirements into detailed design documents and deliver secure infrastructure solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
