Experienced General Ledger Accountant

About the role

Euromaster, a wholly owned Michelin Group subsidiary offering tire services and fast-fitting maintenance, is hiring a Middle (Experienced) GL Accountant for its Finance & Accounting team in Voluntari. The position is on an unlimited contract.

Key responsibilities

• Lead closing activities: execute month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing with accurate and timely account reconciliations.
• Manage the General Ledger: process journal entries and ensure accurate GL coding to support monthly closings.
• Handle core transactions: manage and record inventory adjustments, and oversee intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Prepare, upload and validate reporting data in Group financial tools on schedule.
• Partner with the Controller, Chief Accountant and CFO to investigate and resolve complex accounting queries.
• Draft, review and update process documentation, uphold internal financial controls and generate ad-hoc financial reports for management.

Required profile

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in GL/R2R.
• Advanced written and spoken English.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and autonomous, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborative, proactive and able to improve processes.

Required skills

• Intermediate-to-advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, IF/COUNT functions).
• Strong MS Office skills.
