Electrical Design Engineer (Revit/AutoCAD)

About the role

Blue Projects is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to develop and detail electrical systems for industrial and logistics buildings. The role involves creating 3D models and 2D drawings using Revit and AutoCAD, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and delivering innovative, cost-effective solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and model electrical plant, panels, cabling, and detailing in Revit or AutoCAD.
• Create single-line diagrams using EcoStruxure Power Design and prepare material approval forms.
• Coordinate with medium-voltage and BMS designers, as well as architectural, structural, and mechanical teams.
• Review project specifications, meet with clients and consultants, and propose efficient solutions.
• Prepare reports, equipment schedules, specifications, schematics, and layout details.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical systems design, especially low-voltage and extra-low-voltage for industrial/logistics facilities.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Knowledge of Romanian and European electrical norms and regulations.
• Extra low voltage design diploma (mandatory).

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD (2D/3D CAD).
• Experience with EcoStruxure Power Design for single-line diagrams.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to model electrical panels, cabling, and system details.
