Automation & Robotics Engineer

About the role

Shape the future of smart manufacturing at Bosch Rexroth in Blaj. You will support, improve and implement automation and robotics solutions across production, working closely with engineering, suppliers and technology partners.

Key responsibilities

• Support and improve existing robotic and cobot applications and ensure stable operation of automated equipment.
• Analyze technical problems, troubleshoot and participate in commissioning of new automation solutions.
• Read and understand PLC programs, support optimization of PLC‑controlled equipment and integrate technologies from Bosch Rexroth, Siemens and other providers.
• Identify opportunities for robotics, cobots, material‑flow automation and contribute ideas to improve productivity, quality, flexibility and ergonomics.
• Share knowledge with colleagues and help strengthen automation competence within the plant.

Required profile

• Degree or technical qualification in Automation, Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Practical experience or solid technical knowledge in industrial automation.
• Basic to good understanding of robotics or collaborative robots.
• Familiarity with PLC systems such as Siemens, Beckhoff, Bosch Rexroth or comparable platforms.
• English language skills minimum B2.
