AI Software Architect

About the role

DXC Luxoft is seeking an experienced AI Software Architect to lead AI and Generative AI initiatives for automotive customers. You will design enterprise‑grade AI solutions, guide technical architecture, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver innovative mobility solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide architecture guidance and technical leadership for AI/GenAI projects across customer engagements.
• Design and implement LLM‑powered applications, intelligent assistants, RAG systems and multi‑agent workflows on lakehouse platforms such as Databricks.
• Define security controls, governance principles and role‑based access models for AI platforms.
• Establish CI/CD and promotion practices with monitoring, rollback and production verification.
• Support pre‑sales activities by creating solution concepts, architecture proposals and technical presentations.
• Drive adoption of modern AI engineering practices including MLOps, LLMOps, observability and Responsible AI.

Required profile

• 7+ years of professional experience in software or solution architecture, preferably as an AI Architect.
• Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate business challenges into scalable AI solutions.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with LLMs and AI frameworks (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, CrewAI).
• Knowledge of Retrieval‑Augmented Generation, vector databases, embeddings, prompt engineering and agentic architectures.
• Experience with lakehouse/data‑platform ecosystems (e.g., Databricks) and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar).
• Understanding of AI governance, security, privacy and Responsible AI practices.
• Experience establishing MLOps/LLMOps processes and producing architecture documentation.
