Agentic AI Engineer

About the role

Bosch’s Cluj plant is pioneering the use of artificial intelligence to transform manufacturing. As an Agentic AI Engineer you will create intelligent software agents that automate tasks, assist users, and solve concrete business challenges within the mobility industry.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement AI agents and multi‑agent solutions for real‑world use cases.
• Develop applications using modern large language models (LLMs) and agent frameworks, leveraging enterprise data.
• Integrate agents with APIs, databases, business systems and external tools via protocols such as the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Build context‑aware solutions employing retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG), vector databases, and advanced context‑engineering techniques.
• Evaluate, optimise and monitor agent quality, reliability and performance.
• Deploy and maintain AI services using Docker containers and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, production‑ready AI solutions.
• Stay current with emerging AI agent technologies and research.

Required profile

• Proven experience developing software with Python.
• Hands‑on experience building applications that use LLMs or generative AI.
• Solid understanding of AI agents, prompt engineering and tool/function calling.
• Experience with REST APIs and integrating external services.
• Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD practices.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.
