Accounts Payable Specialist (AP 4A)

About the role

Genpact is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist (AP 4A) in Romania, working in a hybrid setting with a standard work shift. The role covers the end-to-end processing of vendor invoices, keeping accounts payable records accurate and improving AP processes.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate, post business transactions, process invoices and verify financial data for accounts payable records
• Process invoices with and without purchase orders, and review them and requisitions for payment approval
• Check vendor files for previous payments, assign voucher numbers and prepare vouchers with invoice details and coding per accounting policy
• Verify extensions and totals on invoices, including applicable discounts
• Handle non-compliant and non-standard processes within the country and ensure AP process quality
• Manage vendor reconciliation, the vendor payment cycle, GR/IR reconciliations and vendor advances
• Identify and implement AP improvements

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance, or a Master's in Finance
• Advanced Spanish (C1)
• Preferred certifications: Accounts Payable (F-TecF-Tec), CFA, CPA, CTP
