Accountant and Reporting Analyst

About the role

ABB is seeking an Accountant and Reporting Analyst to support accounting, reporting and consolidation activities for the EL Division in Romania. The role involves resolving accounting queries, preparing financial statements and ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the definition, implementation and improvement of accounting policies.
• Execute established accounting policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with ABB group and local instructions.
• Perform quality checks on financial reporting data, including analytical review of major fluctuations.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors on accounting and reporting issues.
• Investigate and reconcile accounting transactions and facilitate resolution of issues.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in accounting, reporting, tax or audit.
• Degree in Accounting.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Passion for identifying errors, improving processes and participating in finance projects.

Required skills

• Experience with SAP (preferred).
• Knowledge of Fixed Asset Accounting (advantage).
