Backend Developer Junior

About the role

As a Junior Backend Developer you will join Bosch Service Solutions' Development Team in Timișoara. You will contribute to designing, building and maintaining backend services that support our enterprise and IT solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers, architects and functional consultants to understand and implement customer requirements end‑to‑end.
• Create synergies across customers to increase standardisation of processes.
• Translate technical design details into production‑ready code following established standards.
• Manage tasks autonomously, including effort estimation and progress tracking.
• Produce high‑quality software and document specifications and operational manuals.
• Continuously improve team ways of working and adopt agile practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of backend technologies, especially STIBO Step MDM.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and/or SAP integrations (hands‑on experience a plus).
• Understanding of REST APIs and token‑based authentication.
• Experience or coursework with SQL (MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server) and NoSQL databases.
• Exposure to source‑control systems such as GitHub, Bitbucket or GitLab.
• Basic experience with CPI communications, legacy system integrations and quality‑assurance methods.
• Ability to read technical specifications and translate them into functional software.
• Eagerness to work in agile teams and learn agile methodologies.
