Working Student Data Scientist

About the role

We are looking for university students who want to gain hands‑on experience in Data Science. As a Working Student in the Data Science group, you will help create data‑driven products and services for the mobility area, collaborating with an internationally distributed team in a hybrid working model.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and apply statistical, data‑mining, machine‑learning and AI algorithms.
• Create data products and services for mobility use cases using images, sensor data, and unstructured text.
• Work with diverse data sources such as databases, log files, sensor event streams and images.
• Develop and maintain data‑science solution libraries, visualisations and analytics results.
• Participate in every phase of the CRISP‑DM cycle.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master program in Computer Science, Automation, Information Theory, Informatics, Mathematics or a comparable field.
• Basic knowledge of large language models, cloud computing, Azure, MongoDB, Docker and related technologies.
• Experience with version‑control systems (e.g., Git, Bitbucket).
• Curiosity to solve real‑life problems and create useful digital products.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
