Senior Java Backend Developer

About the role

As a Senior Java Backend Developer at Bosch Service Solutions, you will be a core contributor and technical leader within the development team. You will tackle complex business challenges, write high‑performance code for critical services, and help shape an AI‑assisted development culture.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy scalable backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Implement complex business logic for global pricing, margin analysis and data integration.
• Collaborate on database design and write efficient, optimized SQL queries.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for automated deployments.
• Leverage AI‑powered tools such as Cloud Code and GitHub Copilot to accelerate development cycles.
• Mentor mid‑level developers through code reviews, pair programming and technical guidance.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and the Spring Boot framework.
• Proven experience designing and building RESTful APIs.
• Excellent knowledge of SQL databases.
• Experience working in a cloud environment (Azure preferred) and with CI/CD principles.
