Manager - Tax and Payroll Legal Consultancy

About the role

SD Worx is looking for a Manager to lead its Tax and Payroll Legal Consultancy line in Romania. The role combines strategic business‑line management with hands‑on legal advice for both internal departments and external clients.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the development strategy for the Legal Consultancy business line in line with SD Worx Romania and group objectives.
• Monitor financial performance, quality indicators and customer satisfaction, proposing optimisation measures.
• Prepare and manage the annual budget and identify opportunities to expand the legal services portfolio.
• Provide external legal consultancy on labour law, tax legislation and related matters, and draft audit‑type reports.
• Support SD Worx Romania departments with internal legal advice and ensure compliance with legislative changes.
• Coordinate legislative updates in SD Worx software applications together with development and support teams.
• Write and publish expert articles, maintain the consultancy page and salary calculator, and collaborate with Sales, Marketing and CET to promote services.
• Design and deliver training sessions and webinars on legislative topics for internal and external audiences.

Required profile

• Proven experience in legal consultancy, preferably covering labour law and tax legislation.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a business line, budgets and cross‑functional projects.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with authorities, partners and clients.
